Hiring Immediately Full-time!! Optio Solutions is seeking Collection Representatives to work remotely in the states noted above.
1 year of previous Collections experience is required

The ideal candidate will have phone experience, good organization, communication skills and general computer knowledge. Previous collections, customer service and sales experience are required. Bilingual is also a plus!!Job Duties
- Making and receiving phone calls in accordance with FDCPA guidelines, various regulatory agencies and state and local laws
- Review and analyze work orders and other skip trace documentation in assigned queue to determine next course of action to resolve debt
- Negotiating and soliciting payment arrangements
- Document information relative to collection activity in collection software contact management system
- Analyze potential disputes and recommend course of action to management
- Prepare accounts for legal action
- Keep abreast of all regulatory compliance requirements related to collecting bad debt
- Achieving daily phone requirements as determined by Management
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly goals as determined by Management
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees
- Ability to meet department attendance requirements
- Ability to work effectively under departmental pressure/stress situations
Skills and Abilities
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Basic computer skills
- Solid verbal communication and negotiating skills
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, under pressure with strict deadlines
- Ability to cope and communicate professionally when dealing with stressful situations
- Maintain confidentiality as outlined in the company’s Confidentiality Agreement
- Work well independently and as part of a team
