What a typical day as a Billing Manager might look like:
- Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes
- Month-end closing of the billing group information
- Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
- Special program/billing planning and implementation
- Personnel development; staff meetings
- Staffing discussions and planning/interviews; Team building
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- HSD, or equivalent education, is required
- Associate or bachelor's degree in related field, is preferred
- 1-2 years' experience in manager or supervisory position, required
- 1-2 years' experience in billing or collections field, preferred
- Proficient in standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, etc.
- Proven ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a billing department
- Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems
